What are your plans for the holiday weekend? Garrett and I are starting the festivities Christmas Eve. We are heading to an annual Christmas Eve party with the in-laws and neighborhood friends. I’m looking forward to Christmas Day because my brother in-law, sister in-law and 7 month old niece will be joining us this year! It’s the first time we’ll be celebrating with a little one and it should be fun! That is, if Bruges doesn’t try to take her presents away! One of our Christmas traditions is staying cozy in our pajamas, eating cheese danishes while opening stockings. Do you have a Christmas or holiday tradition? Would love to hear in the comments below! If you find yourself with some down time, here are some things to check out…
This year at Garrett’s work party, we won a Google Home. For those of you who don’t know what it is, click here to learn more. We are loving it!
Which is why we also ordered an Amazon Echo Dot…
This video shows both smart speakers having a conversation. And this one shows baby’s first words in a modern household. Makes for a good laugh!

For all my music loving friends: have you listened to the Song Exploder podcast? Garrett recently introduced it to me and it’s so fascinating! According to the site, “Song Exploder is a podcast where musicians take apart their songs, and piece by piece, tell the story of how they were made.” Listen here.
I’m bringing a cheese plate to our Christmas Eve party and have been scouring Pinterest for ideas. I’m loving this, this and this!
I love to bake and these biscuit cinnamon rolls always make an appearance in our house this time of year…
Looking for some home DIY and inspiration? I’m loving Kelly’s ideas over on Paper Meets Pearl.
Garrett and I usually go out to dinner to celebrate New Years Eve. This dress would make a great NYE outfit!
